On the Road: Crab Cakes and Chard

img_7321On a long drive from Tennessee (!!) to New York, we made a pit stop for sustenance in Baltimore. I haven’t been to Inner Harbor in too many years, same for hubby who grew up not far from here in Delaware. He chose the spot, recalling Phillips Seafood as a “fancy” date night place when he was a 20 something. It is housed in an old power plant, under a giant red neon Phillips sign, next to a similarly huge Barnes and Noble and Hard Rock Cafe. I would say Phillips Seafood is  more of a family restaurant today. And it is definitely not fancy, but we both had crab cakes and they were delicious. Sipping a glass of chardonnay with my crab cakes made for a perfect pit stop. Next stop New York City!
